HELLO!

Welcome to the first edition of William's Wishing Well, my fantastic new column on everything wishing well related.

Of course today we have important news - the return of the magic waters to the wishing well! Already the town has started to become busier, with visitors turning up to see if the rumours are true and wanting to see the wishing well for themselves. Some have already started washing things in it already!

Quite a queue is forming, and it's no doubt helping to make good profits with local businesses. Billy Peep the Butcher has reported a 10% increase in business already.

Of course, local events are also keeping some people away - not everyone wants to come to a town where there's recently been a murder. We're hoping that - after a while - visitors will overcome their fears and arrive to see our wonderful wishing well!

Besides, with the Troll crisis still going strong, they could certainly go to worse places.

As for myself, I have to report that I have been a bit greedy and washed something in the wishing well myself, producing the most beautiful, glorious and frankly attractive carrot you've ever seen. Hooray!
